At the invitation of the organizing committee of the 22nd FIT World Congress, Mr Gao Anming, the Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Translators Association of China, will deliver a keynote speech via video link on 3 June 2022 with the theme of "Translating a World Without Barriers for a Shared Future - Prospects for the Global Language Service Industry in Consideration of Language Services in China".

In his speech, Gao will share with the audience the development trends of China's language service industry and further elaborate on the prospects of next-generation translation for the profession, calling on the T&I community worldwide to work together towards a global community of shared future. 

The triennial FIT World Congress is one of the most important events in the translation and interpreting community, bringing together all stakeholders involved in the profession to discuss matters of common concern. The 22nd FIT World Congress will be held on 1-3 June in Varadero, Cuba, which is of particular significance in the context of global pandemic.
