As one of the signature events hosted by the Translators Association of China (TAC) and the largest interpreting competition in China, the 11th All China Interpreting Contest rolled out recently and will conclude in October 2022 with an awards ceremony for outstanding contestants. The event is aiming to provide a fair competition for T&I practitioners to compete and exchange, promoting the sound development of China’s language service industry.

The Contest is held annually since 2010, with an average of more than 5,000 participants and a record of over 10,000 participants in 2021. Qualified participants include interpreters both at home and abroad who specialise in Chinse-English interpreting or vice versa.
