At a moment when artificial intelligence is reshaping the global language services ecosystem, FIT Asia (Asian Regional Center of the International Federation of Translators) proudly launches its high-end online lecture series, Translation Practice & Education in the AI Era—a forward-looking initiative to explore the evolution and future of translation amid technological revolution.

The inaugural session will broadcast globally on Tuesday: December 9, 2025, 19:00-20:00 (Beijing Time | 11:00-12:00 UTC). We are honored to feature Mr. Gao Anming as the keynote speaker: currently Editor-in-Chief of China International Communications Group and Executive Vice President & Secretary-General of the Translators Association of China, Mr. Gao brings over 30 years of leadership experience in media and translation, bridging top-tier international communication practice and industry governance.

In his lecture Translation Practice & Education in the AI Era, Mr. Gao will decode how AI is reshaping translation task paradigms, analyze the efficiency boundaries of human-machine collaboration, define the core competency framework for translation education, and illuminate the irreplaceable role of human translators in precise cross-cultural communication—delivering a thought-provoking address that balances strategic vision with practical insights, tailored for global language service professionals, educators, and researchers.
